The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has partnered with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) to bring government services closer to the public.
Today, the MMDA launched its first-ever satellite office at Robinsons Galleria Ortigas in Quezon City.
This new office aims to make traffic-related transactions more accessible and convenient for motorists.
Improving Access for Motorists
MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes highlighted the agency’s goal to simplify processes for the public.
“This project reflects our commitment to creating easier ways for motorists to settle concerns like traffic fines and driver clearances,” Artes shared during the launch.
He also expressed his gratitude to RLC for providing the office space at no cost.
“We thank RLC for their support in making this project possible for the benefit of our stakeholders,” he added.
RLC Vice President for Marketing and Operations Joel Lumanlan welcomed the partnership with MMDA.
“This office represents a shared goal of bringing government services closer to the community,” Lumanlan remarked.
Convenient Location and Services
The MMDA Redemption Satellite Office is located at the Lingkod Pinoy Center, Lower Ground Floor of Robinsons Galleria Ortigas.
It operates from Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a range of services:
- Payment of MMDA-issued traffic fines.
- Removal of alarms flagged by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
- Processing of driver clearances for traffic violations.
Previously, motorists needed to visit the MMDA Head Office or designated centers to access these services.
Now, the satellite office provides a faster and more convenient option.
Enhancing Traffic Management Services
The MMDA Traffic Ticket Management Division will manage the satellite office.
This division oversees traffic violation data, record-keeping, and clearance processing.
According to Artes, the satellite office will simplify the process for motorists while reducing wait times.
“This is a step toward better service delivery for Metro Manila motorists,” he noted.
Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by MMDA Deputy Chairman Usec. Frisco San Juan Jr. and RLC External Affairs Director Irving Wu.
Wu emphasized the importance of partnerships in improving public services.
“This collaboration shows how private organizations can work with government agencies to create practical solutions for the public,” Wu said.
Better Services for Motorists
The satellite office is expected to benefit thousands of motorists by streamlining the process of addressing traffic violations.
With this project, the MMDA aims to provide faster and more efficient services.
“This is just the beginning. We will continue to expand and improve to serve the public better,” Artes concluded.
Motorists now have a more convenient way to handle traffic-related concerns, thanks to this partnership between MMDA and RLC.
